Hooman Shirali

Hooman Shirali was born in Iran and He started playing music with the Setar Instrument and after passing the initial stages to learn the repertoire of Iranian music and Radifs, he entered the class of Masoud Shaari.
After completing the professional stages of playing the Setar, Hooman chose the Oud as his specialty instrument and entered the University of Arts with this instrument and was able to graduate from the Bachelor of Music in the Instrumental Music Department of Iran.
Hooman has been able to achieve many successes with the Oud until today, an important part of which you will read below.

– Received Barbad’s honor diploma award, to compose the album Tensioned in the Sound.

– Received the award for the best Oud soloist in the 13th Youth Music Festival in Iran.

– Tensioned in the Sound live concert at Tehran’s Rudaki Hall in summer 2018

– Tensioned in the Sound live concert at Tehran’s Rudaki Hall in winter 2018

– Oud and Tar Duet live concert in Tehran’s Rudaki Hall

– Live Oud solo at the 9th Youth Music Festival in Tehran’s Rudaki Hall

– Live performance of the concert of Eastern songs in Vahdat Hall of Tehran

– Live Oud solo at the 13th Youth Music Festival in Tehran’s Rudaki Hall

– Live concert performance at Dubai Expo 2020 in Al Wasl Dome

– Live Concert in India and Tunisia and another countries.

– Live Rumination concert in Dubai Toda Digital Theatre Hall 2023
